Branch school Međulužje

The school in Međulužje was founded in 1893 and has a tradition that spans more than a century. Until the establishment of the first elementary school in Mladenovac in 1895, students from the town also attended its classes, and the school later continued to play a significant role in the education of children from this region.

With the growth in the number of students, the existing building eventually became insufficient, so in 1928 it was expanded by adding another classroom. After the introduction of eight-year schooling, students in the older grades continued their education in Mladenovac, while classes for students from the first to the fourth grade continued in the school building, which is still in use today.

On the occasion of its centennial, the school was completely renovated in 1993. At the same time, the school building was adapted and adapted to the needs of the preschool group, thus giving the building an even more important role in the life of the local community.

Today, the school has two classrooms equipped with modern teaching aids and new furniture, a teacher's office and a space for the preschool group to work. Classes are organized in two shifts.

Thanks to the dedication of the teachers, the school in Međulužje remains a place of knowledge, socializing, new ideas, and growing together. In a pleasant and stimulating environment, students are provided with conditions for quality learning, developing independence, and fostering a sense of belonging to the school and their place.
