Branch school Markovac

The school in Markovac was founded in 1850 and is the oldest separate department that became part of the "Kosta Đukić" Elementary School. Since 1968, when the parent school in Mladenovac was formed, the school in Markovac has continued its work as its separate department, preserving the tradition of education that has lasted for more than a century and a half.

Today, the school organizes classes for students from first to fourth grade. The school building has three classrooms, a teacher's office and a special space for the preschool group, and classes are held in the morning shift.

The smaller school environment allows for close cooperation between students, teachers and parents, as well as a more dedicated approach to each child. In addition to regular classes, students participate in creative workshops, school projects and activities that develop knowledge, imagination, independence and a sense of community. The school's current website regularly publishes the activities of students from Markovac.

With its long history and continuous work, the school in Markovac remains an important place of education, socialization, and gathering of children and families from this region.
