Velika Ivanča

The school in Velika Ivanča was founded in 1863 and has a tradition spanning over 160 years. Not long after its founding, a school building was erected and the necessary conditions for organizing classes were provided. The school used to be called "Sreten Lomić".

Since 1982, the school in Velika Ivanča has been part of the "Kosta Đukić" Primary School in Mladenovac. Unlike other separate departments, it still organizes classes for students from first to eighth grade, in two shifts.

The school building has four classrooms, an IT and computer science room, a library, a gymnasium, a meeting room, a kitchen and a space for a preschool group. An independent school library and classes for all grades give this department a special place within the school.

At Velika Ivanča, students acquire knowledge in an environment that combines a long tradition with modern forms of teaching. Through regular classes, workshops, competitions, cultural programs and joint activities, creativity, responsibility, mutual respect and close cooperation between the school and parents and the local community are fostered. The activities of students from this class are regularly published on the school website.

For more than a century and a half, the school in Velika Ivanča has remained an important place of education, socialization, and growth for generations of students from this region.
