Enriched single-shift work

   ​Enriched single-shift work provides students with the opportunity to remain in a familiar and stimulating school environment after regular classes and engage in activities in accordance with their interests, needs, and abilities.

   The main goal of the program is to provide additional educational and upbringing support to students. Through carefully designed content, curiosity, creativity, independence, cooperation and the development of various knowledge and skills are encouraged. Activities are organized after regular school obligations and are adapted to the interests of students and the capabilities of the school.

   Students thus have the opportunity to learn through play, research, practical work, movement and socializing. The program can include language, reading, mathematics, science, art, technology and sports content, as well as activities dedicated to healthy lifestyles, ecology and spending time in nature.

   In the previous years, various workshops and joint activities have been implemented at the "Kosta Đukić" Elementary School, including learning English through play, a Reading Corner, Mathematical Ladders, handicrafts and weaving, sports activities, programs dedicated to healthy eating, and mountaineering. By connecting different teaching areas, students apply the acquired knowledge in new situations and develop their interests in a more relaxed atmosphere.

   Enriched single-shift work contributes to making school not only a place of regular instruction, but also a space where students can discover talents, gain new experiences, develop friendships, and spend quality time.
