Cookie Policy

The website of the "Kosta Đukić" Elementary School in Mladenovac uses cookies for the proper and secure functioning of the site, as well as analytical and statistical cookies with the consent of the visitor. With this policy, we explain what cookies are, what types of cookies we use, for what purposes we use them, and how visitors can manage their choices.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on a visitor's computer, mobile phone, tablet or other device. They allow the website to function properly, remember certain settings and, with the visitor's consent, collect statistical data on website usage.

What cookies do we use?

Necessary cookies

Necessary cookies enable the basic functioning, security and stability of the website. They are set regardless of the visitor's choice, because without them, certain functions of the site would not be able to work properly. These cookies can be used for:

• secure functioning of the WordPress system;
• login of authorized users to the administrative part of the site;
• saving technical settings;
• remembering the selected language variant;
• remembering visitor choices regarding the use of cookies.

Analytical and statistical cookies

With the consent of the visitor, the site uses Google Analytics 4 to collect statistical data on visits and how the website is used. This data helps us to find out which pages are most visited, how visitors arrive at the site, what devices and web browsers they use, and how we can improve the content and user experience. Google Analytics can process data such as:

• pages visited and time of visit;
• approximate geographic location;
• device type, operating system and internet browser;
• the source from which the visitor came to the site;
• how to use and navigate through the pages of the site.

Analytical and statistical cookies are not set until the visitor selects the "Accept all" option.

Cookie overview

Visitor selection

When you first visit the site, a notification is displayed with the following options:

• „"I accept everything"“ – allows the use of necessary, analytical and statistical cookies;
• „"Only necessary"“ – allows only cookies necessary for the proper and secure functioning of the site.

If the visitor selects only necessary cookies, Google Analytics cookies will not be set.

Change or withdrawal of consent

The visitor can change their choice at any time via the "Cookie Settings" option at the footer of the site. Cookies can also be viewed, blocked or deleted via the settings of the internet browser. Deleting cookies will also delete the previously saved choice, so the notification will be displayed again on the next visit. Blocking necessary cookies via the internet browser may affect the proper functioning of certain parts of the site.

Links to other websites

The website may contain links to websites of state authorities, educational portals, electronic journals, social networks and other external services. After opening an external website, the privacy and cookie policy of that service applies. Kosta Đukić Primary School does not manage cookies set by other websites.

Changes to the Cookie Policy

This policy may be amended to reflect changes in the way the site operates, the technologies used, or applicable regulations. Any changes will be posted on this page.
